STEP 1 OF 91 · FIRST LIGHT

One step, one block.

Every real step you take lays one real block. Walk your daily Goal and today's structure stands finished. Miss it — and you keep exactly what you built.

FROM THE BOOKLET

Read the manual. It's short.

1

Walk.

Your steps arrive on their own — BlockStep reads your step count from Apple Health and lays a block for each one. Watch today's structure go up as you move.

2

Finish the day.

Your Goal is yours: 500 to 30,000 steps. The same structure builds at whatever detail your Goal implies — a modest Goal makes a bolder, chunkier object; an ambitious one, a finer one.

3

Keep it. Honestly.

At midnight the day joins your Collection exactly as far as you walked it. No day is redrawn, rounded up, or taken away. Scaffolding and all.

Ninety-one structures. One road.

A cottage, a lighthouse, a locomotive, a hot air balloon, a kraken — ninety-one authored pieces across thirteen chapters. Everyone walks the same road from their own first day, so what you meet on day four was a decision, not an accident.

It never pretends you walked.

The crown

Walk 150% of your Goal and the day is crowned — and banks a Shield.

The Shield

A Shield spends itself, quietly, on a day you miss. Your Streak holds. You'll see exactly which day it saved.

Sick days

Ill, or away? Mark the day. Your Streak holds where it stands — and the record never says you walked when you didn't.

Extra steps past your Goal? Point them at an unfinished day from your Collection and finish it — the record keeps both truths.

On your wrist, your Home Screen, your Lock Screen.
